Give your subs a login so they see the jobs you've assigned them, can message the crew, and pull up plans from the field. 3 free seats on Pro, $5/mo each extra.
Sub view is a persistent login for your subcontractors. Once you grant a sub view access, they can sign in at fieldkrew.com/sub/login and see every job you've assigned them, send messages into the job's crew chat, and download job plans from the field. This is different from the magic-link sub portal (where each new assignment generates a one-time link). That flow still works — sub view is the upgrade for subs you work with regularly. What a sub sees when they log in A list of every job they have an active assignment on Per job: customer name, address (read-only), scope, agreed pay, schedule, status Crew chat — the same internal thread the owner + employees see for the job. Sub can read and post. Message contractor — a separate per-(sub, job) thread for private negotiation (scope, pay). Job plans — read + download (PDFs, drawings) What they DO NOT see: the job value to the customer, other subs' agreed pay, invoices, your profit margins, your customer's email/phone (you proxy contact through the app), other jobs in your account. Granting view access Subs → click + Grant view on the sub's row. (They need an email on file — add one if not.) The sub gets an email with a link to set their password. FieldKrew also copies the invite link to your clipboard so you can text it to them if you don't think they check email. Sub clicks the link → sets password → lands on their dashboard. Previewing what a sub sees Want to see exactly what they'll see before granting? On any sub row click 👁 Preview . A new tab opens with their view (a 2-hour read-only session). Works even before you grant — useful for selling the feature to a hesitant sub. Revoking access On the sub's row, click Revoke . They're signed out instantly and their seat frees up. Their password isn't deleted, so if you re-grant later they don't have to set a new one. Seats and pricing Your Pro plan includes 3 sub-view seats at the account level. A seat = one unique sub with active view access. A sub assigned to 10 jobs still uses 1 seat. Beyond 3, extra seats are $5/mo each . (Billing for extra seats is rolling out — for now you hit a hard cap at 3.) What if my sub forgets their password? Currently they should ping you and you re-grant view (which resets their access via a fresh invite link). A self-serve "forgot password" flow is on the roadmap.
