Sub bidding (RFPs to your subcontractors)

Send an RFP to multiple subs at once, collect bids via magic-link, award the winner — all without an account or login for the subs.

When you don't want to single-source a sub, send an RFP (Request For Proposal) to multiple subs at once and pick the winning bid. Each invited sub gets a magic-link public page where they review the scope and submit a price + ETA without logging in. Sending an RFP Open any job from Jobs → scroll to Sub bidding → click New RFP . Fill in the trade, scope of work, materials provided, and a deadline. Pick which subs to invite (multi-select from your roster). Hit send. RFP templates The same boilerplate gets sent over and over (roof tear-off, decking patch, gutter install, panel upgrade). Save it once as a template — the next time you click New RFP, pick the template from the dropdown and the trade + scope + materials fields auto-fill. What the sub sees Each invitee gets a unique URL (no login). They see the trade, scope, materials breakdown, and a form to submit price + start / end ETA + exclusions + notes. They can also explicitly decline with a reason. Anything they submit shows up on your JobDetail page immediately. Awarding the bid When you're ready, click Award next to the winning bid. FieldKrew: Promotes the bid to a real job_subs assignment. Auto-declines the other invitees with a polite note. Notifies the winner via email + SMS with their portal link (same one your single-source subs get — they confirm, upload photos, mark complete). Where to see all your RFPs The Subs tab has a Bids column listing every open RFP across all jobs. Drill into the job or the individual sub.
