Recurring jobs (maintenance contracts)

Turn any existing job into a maintenance contract — gutter cleans, HVAC tune-ups, annual inspections auto-spawn on schedule.

Recurring jobs are how you lock in repeat revenue — gutter cleaning every 6 months, HVAC tune-up spring + fall, monthly lawn care, annual inspections. FieldKrew auto-spawns a fresh job on the cadence you pick. Where to set one up Open any existing job from Jobs → scroll to the Recurring schedule card (right after Warranty) → click Make this job recurring . Pick a frequency (weekly / monthly / every 3 months / every 6 months / annual / custom days) and a first occurrence date — FieldKrew snapshots the customer, address, job type, and value from this job for every future spawn. What the daily cron does Every 24 hours we scan for active rules whose next-run-date has arrived. For each one we create a fresh job in status scheduled , then advance the next-run-date by the cadence. Managing an active schedule The same card shows cadence, next spawn date, occurrences generated so far, and a status badge (Active / Paused). Three buttons: Pause / Resume — temporarily stop spawning without losing the rule. Run now — force-spawn the next occurrence before its date. Stop recurring — delete the rule. Already-generated jobs stay; no new ones will spawn. To restart, set up a fresh recurring rule. What about the old standalone Recurring page? Retired. The dedicated /app/recurring page and its Settings link both went away when this moved onto JobDetail — managing one rule from the job it represents is a tighter fit than managing them all from a separate list.
