Build, send, follow up, accept/decline, convert to jobs. Templates & parts.
Quotes are how you propose work and lock in price. FieldKrew handles building, sending, customer accept/decline, follow-up reminders, conversion to a job, and the PDF generation. Building a quote From a lead or job → + New estimate , or from the Quotes page → + New quote . Add line items: description, quantity, price. Optional: pick from your Parts catalog instead of retyping prices. Settings → Estimates → Parts & pricebook is where the catalog lives. Set tax rate + valid-for days (defaults from Settings → Estimates). Save. The PDF is generated on demand and includes your logo, line items, business contact info, license number, and a sign/decline link for the customer. Sending a quote Click Send . Pick a delivery channel — email (through your Gmail/Outlook/Resend), text (Twilio), or both. The message includes a link to a public page where the customer can accept or decline. PDF is attached if email; link only for SMS. Follow-up reminders If a quote sits accepted-or-declined for the number of days set in Settings → Operations → Automation (default 7), it shows up on your Dashboard "Follow-ups due" card. Log a touchpoint when you've actually called/texted, and it resets the timer. Customer accepts the quote On the public quote page they can click Accept. They can also pay a deposit right there if you accept payments. The moment they accept, FieldKrew: Auto-creates an Unscheduled job with the customer details, address, value, and a link back to the quote. No manual "Convert to job" step needed. Drops the new job in the Unscheduled column of the kanban + on Dashboard's "Needs scheduling" card. Sends you a "Quote accepted — needs scheduling" notification so you know to lock in a date. Moves the lead to Won . When you set a start date on the new job, it flips to Scheduled automatically. Templates Settings → Estimates → Estimate templates. Save the quotes you build over and over (standard panel upgrade, roof replacement, etc.) and drop them into new quotes in one click. Roofing takeoff calculator If your trade is roofing, the quote builder has a built-in shingle / underlayment / nail calculator. Type the square footage of each roof plane → it spits out exact material counts you can paste into line items.
