Forward your vendor lead emails to a private FieldKrew address — we parse them and create the lead.
You probably get lead notification emails from a handful of vendors — Angi, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, Houzz, your Google Local Services Ads inbox, maybe Networx or Yelp. Manually copying the customer name, phone, and request into FieldKrew is the worst part of running the pipeline. We can automate it. How it works (the short version) Settings → Operations & reports → Auto-import leads gives you a private email address like leads-abc123@inbound.fieldkrew.com . In Gmail/Outlook, set up forwarding rules that send every Angi / HomeAdvisor / Thumbtack notification to that address. FieldKrew parses each forwarded email — name, phone, address, project type, message — and creates a Lead with the source tag already set (so the lead-source ROI report works automatically). Set up forwarding in Gmail Two click-paths to follow. The first one verifies your FieldKrew inbox as a forwarding destination (once per account). The second creates a per-vendor filter (once per source). 1. Verify the forwarding destination Gmail emails a 6-digit confirmation code to that address. You don't need to log into our inbox to get it — it surfaces automatically inside your FieldKrew Settings page under "Forwarding confirmation codes." Paste it back into Gmail to confirm. 2. Create a filter for each lead source Repeat for each vendor domain (see the table below). For up-to-date screenshots, see Google's official guide: Automatically forward Gmail messages . Set up forwarding in Outlook Outlook may send a confirmation — same deal, we'll capture the code in the Settings card. For current screenshots see Microsoft's guide: Use rules to automatically forward messages in Outlook . Sender addresses to filter on Vendor From-address pattern Parsed fields Angi @angi.com , @angieslist.com Name, phone, email, address, project, message HomeAdvisor @homeadvisor.com Name, phone, email, address, project, message Thumbtack @thumbtack.com Name, phone, email, city/state, project, message Houzz @houzz.com Source tagged; body kept as notes Networx @networx.com Source tagged; body kept as notes Google LSA @google.com + "lead" Source tagged; body kept as notes Yelp @yelp.com Source tagged; body kept as notes Facebook Lead Ads @facebookmail.com Source tagged; body kept as notes What if the parser misses a field? We always create the lead even if the vendor template changes — the generic fallback pulls the first phone + first email out of the body so nothing is silently dropped. Check the "Recent activity" list in the Settings card; if you see a vendor coming in as "unknown" or fields are wrong, email us a forwarded example and we'll patch the template within a day. Costs Free on Pro. Vendor lead emails are free to forward from any modern mail provider (Gmail, Workspace, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud). No per-vendor add-ons. Privacy & security Your inbox address contains a random unguessable token. If it ever leaks (e.g. you accidentally forwarded a confirmation to a colleague), click Rotate address in the Settings card — old forwarding rules stop working immediately. We don't store the full body of every email; only the first ~1KB is kept for the activity audit, and verification codes are auto-dismissed once you mark them used.
