Invoices & getting paid

Send invoices, accept card payments, watch them get paid in real time.

FieldKrew uses Stripe Connect to put money in your bank account directly. FieldKrew never holds your money. Pro accounts pay a 0% FieldKrew platform fee on every invoice (Free is 1%) — that's on top of Stripe's standard 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, which goes to Stripe directly and applies on every field-service CRM. One-time setup: connect your bank account Settings → Plan & billing → Get paid online. Click Connect bank account . You'll be sent to Stripe's hosted onboarding. Fill in your business info: EIN or SSN, business address, the name on the account, and your routing + account number. Stripe verifies (usually instant, occasionally a few minutes). When done, the badge in Settings flips to Active . You need this connected BEFORE you can create invoices. The "Send invoice" button on a job is disabled until then. Creating an invoice From any job → Send invoice . Pick the amount, optional memo, and a due date. The customer gets an email with a link to a hosted payment page (Stripe Elements — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Watching it get paid The Invoices page auto-refreshes every 30 seconds while open. You get a notification (bell icon, top-right) the moment a payment lands. The job's status auto-flips from Invoiced → Paid via the Stripe webhook. Late payments Invoices past their due date show "PAST DUE" in red on the customer portal. They get the same urgency cue when they click the email payment link. The Invoice Reminder automation (Settings → Customer comms → Automated messages) can auto-send a nudge. Refunds For now, refunds happen in your Stripe Express dashboard (Get paid online → Open Stripe dashboard → click the payment → Refund). The job stays marked Paid since the refund is bookkeeping after the fact. In-app refund UI is coming.
