Your crew control center: privileged accounts (managers, estimators) and employees (field crew). Per-tab permission editor for each privileged account.
Your team splits into two pools: privileged accounts (admins / managers / estimators — owner-like access by default) and employees (the field crew who clock in, log photos, and work jobs from their phones). Where it all lives The Employees tab on the left toolbar is the control center. The top of the page lists every member with their hours this month + last clock-in. Click any name for their full detail page — wage, totals (today / week / month / all-time), feature toggles, time-off history, embedded calendar of their schedule, recent shifts, past jobs, leads they created, and an Email identity card at the bottom for their per-employee sender name + signature. Inviting + roles Privileged — defaults to admin (owner-like) access. You can scope them down: uncheck Settings , Employees , or any individual section (Jobs / Calendar / Leads / Contacts / Messages / Quotes / Expenses / Mileage / Reports / Warranties / Parts) and that tab disappears from their nav. 5 privileged seats included on Pro; style="max-width:780px;margin:0 auto;padding:48px 24px;font-family:system-ui,-apple-system,sans-serif;line-height:1.55;color:#0f172a"0/mo per extra. Employee — clock-in + field-crew dashboard only (krew view). No admin surfaces. Per-employee feature toggles (breaks / customer contact / time off / manual hours) on their detail page. 10 employee seats included on Pro; $5/mo per extra. Setting up a scoped privileged account Open Employees → + Invite → pick "Privileged". Uncheck any tab they shouldn't access (common: Settings and/or Employees for a sales rep or office admin). Set their hourly rate. Email the invite. You can edit their permission set later from their detail page. Sender name + email signature per employee Each user — privileged or employee — has their own sender name and email signature, so customer emails sent from their login go out with their identity, not yours. Edit either from the bottom of an employee's detail page OR from Settings → Messaging → Editing settings for → pick the user. Saves go through the same field on both surfaces. Note: sender name is a label, not the actual sending address. By default outgoing emails ship through your connected sending identity (@fieldkrew.com default, or your own domain via Resend, or each user's personal Gmail/Outlook if they've connected it). See Resend setup for custom-domain sending. Crew mode (switch to field view) Any user — owner included — can flip into Krew View from the top-right "Crew mode" toggle. This swaps the full business nav for the field-crew dashboard so you can clock in / log hours / send "on my way" without the admin chrome in the way.
