Contacts (customers)

Every customer you've ever worked with — their full history.

Contacts is your customer database. Every lead, job, quote, invoice, message, and call you've logged with a person rolls up into a single timeline. Use it to: Look up a past customer before calling them back See every job you've done for an address Send a one-off email or text without going through a job Turn the customer portal on/off for that contact How contacts get created Automatically: every lead and every job creates or updates a contact based on name + email/phone. You don't usually create one manually unless you're building a marketing list ahead of any actual work. Bulk email/text Select multiple contacts → Compose . Use merge tokens like {` `} and {` `} to personalize. Goes through your own Gmail/Outlook (email) or Twilio (text) — see Resend email setup and Twilio setup . Customer portal At the bottom of each contact detail page. Turn the portal on for that customer to give them a private, password-free URL where they can see their jobs, pay invoices, view estimates, download photos, and send you messages.
